Chris Morris and the Hidden Valley Titans advanced to the state semifinals for the 2nd straight year. Unfortunately, the trip has ended for two straight years for the Titans. Chris Morris, Ben Boggs and Luke Hancock addressed the media at the Siegel Center after the game.

The Bruton Panthers had a very good season this year in Region I. The Panthers finished runner up and advanced all the way to the State Final Four. Unfortunately for Wayne Burnette's squad, they were unable to go farther. After falling to Waynesboro in the State Semis, Coach Burnette and some of his players addressed the media at the Siegel Center and now you are hearing it on "The Sports Buffet"

Secrett Stubblefield and her Waynesboro Little Giants were the 2nd best team in the VHSL this year, if you go by where they finished in the pecking order. They finished runner up to the State Champions, the Hidden Valley Titans. After Waynesboro defeated Bruton on Thursday, Coach Stubblefield and Devon Brown addressed the media in the media room after Thursday's win.

Hidden Valley captured a state championship on Saturday at the Siegel Center in Richmond. Before they did that though, they had to knock off Greensville County. Mike McGuire's squad started slow but finished strong. Afterwards, in the media room, Coach McGuire as well as his two division 1 commitments, Abby Oliver (Richmond) & Kylee Beecher (Liberty University) joined him to talk to members of the media.

Brandon Garrett's Nelson County Governors have one loss this season. Coach Garrett hopes that number stays stuck on one. It didn't go to two on Wednesday. Nelson's win total increased after their state semifinal win against Twin Valley at VCU. Afterwards, Brandon Garrett was joined by two of his standout seniors, Thomas Brown and Chris Jones, in the media room to discuss Nelson's first ever berth in the State Final.
