The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. Art Monk, Former Wide Reciever for the Washington Redskins, joined me Friday on "The Sports Buffet". We reflected on Art's career, as he heads to Canton next month to enter the NFL's Hall of Fame. Art and fellow Redskin and Hall of Fame inductee Darrell Green, are making a trip to Lynchburg next Sunday to benefit their foundations. "Talking High School Sports" was a radio show established back in 2003 on AM 1000, WKDE. Due to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Anna, the show was cancelled due to time constraints.
