The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. Brandon Garrett and the Nelson County Governors look to get back on the winning track with three games this week. Coach Garrett's squad hit a little bump in the road in Altavista on Friday, but they get back in action this week, hosting Gretna on Tuesday and traveling to Rustburg on Wednesday and Dan River on Friday. Coach Garrett talks about that as well as reviewing the 1st half of the season on "The Sports Buffet"
