The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. In addition to high school sports, college sports and pro sports will also be covered on "The Sports Buffet". Athena Aronson, Head Volleyball Coach at Brookville High School, spoke with me after her team lost in the 2006 Region III Final to the Cave Spring Knights. Good news did come out of the loss however: The Bees advanced to the state tournament and finished in the State Final Four. Also, Ashley Jones was Region III player of the year. "Talking High School Sports" was a radio show established back in 2003 on AM 1000, WKDE. Due to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Anna, the show was cancelled due to time constraints.
