The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. DC and I review LCA's State Championship and look at the teams advancing to next week's regional finals (Amherst, Brookville, Gretna, William Campbell) and we look at teams who ended their seasons on Friday (Heritage, Liberty, Appomattox) and more. "Talking High School Sports" was a radio show established back in 2003 on AM 1000, WKDE. Due to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Anna, the show was cancelled due to time constraints.
