The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. Dennis Carter, host of Football Friday on ABC-13, was a frequent contributor during the days of "Talking High School Sports". It was an edition back in September of 2006 when Dennis Carter joined us to review the only loss the Amherst Lancers suffered during the season and more. Dennis Carter reviews Football Friday for September 15th, 2006 as "The Sports Buffet" reviews the 2006-2007 High School Sports season.

"Talking High School Sports" was a radio show established back in 2003 on AM 1000, WKDE. Due to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Anna, the show was cancelled due to time constraints.
