The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. "The Sports Buffet" continues it look back into the 2006-2007 High School sports season with a preview of the Regional Football finals. I talked with Lewis Rose (Amherst), Scott Abell (Amherst) and Darius Scruggs (Amherst) about the Amherst-Salem match up. Theo Miller (Gretna), Tyon Bennett (Gretna), Chris Thurman (Gretna) and Joe Fowler (Goochland) weigh in on the Gretna-Goochland matchup. Fianally, Austin Carr gave his thoughts on the William Campbell-Riverheads matchup. A look back at 2006-2007 athletic year according to the academic calendar continues on "The Sports Buffet".

"Talking High School Sports" was a radio show established back in 2003 on AM 1000, WKDE. Due to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Anna, the show was cancelled due to time constraints.
