The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. Jim Thacker, Head Baseball Coach at Jefferson Forest High School, talked with me Thursday evening about the season the Cavaliers are having so far as well as previewing Friday night's game at Liberty where the team that won the state championship in the 70's is being honored. "Talking High School Sports" was a radio show established back in 2003 on AM 1000, WKDE. Due to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Anna, the show was cancelled due to time constraints.
