The Sports Buffet is a podcast developed by Bob Alvis. Alvis, who has broadcasted high school sports for six years for WKDE Radio in Altavista, VA, developed the pod-cast to give internet listeners access to old games and segments of "Talking High School Sports", that Alvis broadcasted for three years. Ashley Jones was named 2006-2007 Seminole District Volleyball Player of the Year. The collection of plaques wasn't confined to the fall as Jones captured the Seminole District Girls Basketball Player of the Year award as well. After Brookville defeated Staunton River for the Seminole District Girls Basketball Tournament Title, I caught up with the outstanding athlete from Brookville High School.

"Talking High School Sports" was a radio show established back in 2003 on AM 1000, WKDE. Due to the birth of my beautiful daughter, Anna, the show was cancelled due to time constraints.
